David FURCAJG - Director
Master of Applied Economics and Finance (Sciences-Po Paris), Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) and Member of the Society of Technical Analysts in London, David has been working on financial markets for over 10 years. His first experience took place within the NATIXIS bond research team as a government bond strategist. During this period, he was involved in different research papers regarding emerging markets’ economies and capital inflows. He then worked as a technical equity Analyst/Strategist in different research companies in Paris.
His last experience was at a London based top broker (Louis Capital Markets) where he developed and managed his own investment strategy on the cash equity market (his average performance was 55% a year).
Pr Chong JU CHOI - Senior Advisor
Dr. Russell, a Korean national, was the Dean of the MBA in Cambridge University, United Kingdom. He received his education from Seoul National University, Korea (BA economics); Harvard University, U.S. (MPA); INSEAD, France (MBA); Oxford University, U.K. (M.Phil and PhD economics). His areas of teaching, consulting and research include: global m-commerce; knowledge/internet industries; Europe-Asian joint-ventures.
For the past 10 years, he has lectured in over 40 countries and visited over 50 business schools throughout the world. He also worked in consulting, research projects and executive programs for 200 blue chip global companies. In the year 2000-2001, he gave keynote speeches including: McKinsey partnership conference in France; ATKearney global retailing/e-commerce conference in Belgium; British Telecom global challenge conference in Argentina; World Knowledge Forum (Maekyung business daily) in South Korea and Annual Piraeus world shipping lecture in Greece.
Joël PEREZ - Managing Partner
Joel holds a Master in International Business Law from the University of Aix en Provence (France) and
has been a member of the French Bar for three years. After an outstanding background as a legal
counsel in France and the United States, Joel joined the hedge fund industry in the United States and
the UK where he developed his own proprietary scoring IPO model.
Joel with at least 10 years of experience in capital raising events has been running its own IPO fund
since 2001. His proprietary model enables him to monitor and then pick the best capital raising events
worldwide. The average performance of his fund on a yearly basis is at least of 50% with 10% volatility
managing over 500 IPOs and secondaries placements a year
At the moment, Joel is more focused on IPOs in China and India as well as other booming emerging
markets like MENA, Brazil and Turkey. Hence, Joel brings ELOA INVEST a sound understanding of
the IPO market as well as his network within financial institutions in Asia, Middle East, Europe and
America.
Michael ATZMON – Member of the Board
Michael ATZMON holds a BA & BBA from United Business Institutes and University of Wales and has followed executive MBA courses at the United Business Institutes.
He is specialized in strategic relations and has been advising international investment groups as well as financial institutions for almost a decade.
Michael’s career started as a business developer for high tech companies wishing to access the European markets and economies. Michael later held various positions at Lion Venture Partners and at the private equity divestiture fund DivestCap in NY. Michael then founded SIXX Partners, an international financial and strategic relation advisory firm specialized in origination and investment strategy implementation.
Michael advised investors from all over the globe on sourcing, origination and the development of high level relationships and strategies in transactions ranging from US$20M to US$1.8B in sectors such as IPO’s in China to private placements in Western Europe and real estate in emerging Europe.
